 Simunition Scenario Instructor Certification Course 

February 20-22, 2024

 

The Simunition® Scenario Instructor and Safety Certification Course is designed to provide critical training to instructors who will conduct reality-based training within their department. The course will provide hands- on instruction in scenario based training program development and training methodology and will give practical experience to students on the best use of Simunition® training products in a highly effective, realistic, extremely safe training course.

Simunition® will provide converted training firearms, FX® personal protective equipment, all FX® and SecuriBlank® training ammunition, as well as training aids such as inert training props. If you choose to bring your own converted weapon(s) and/or personal protective equipment, please see the outline below and your instructor before the course starts.

Tritech Forensics - Crime Scene Photography

March 25 - 29, 2024

This 40-hour course teaches the techniques needed to successfully document evidence and scenes in a professional manner. The course begins with instruction of basic photographic techniques such as the mechanics of exposure, depth-of-field, and motion control. Camera handling and operation are stressed in all areas to include camera controls and how they work, electronic noise causes and controls, and much more. This course also includes instruction on basic electronic flash operation and techniques

De-escalation Instructor

July 22-14, 2024

This course focuses on a real-world approach to communicating tactfully, which will allow you as an instructor to provide a baseline for your officers that will reduce liability, promote a professional image, build rapport, and even save lives. The strategies and techniques learned are a resource every officer should have in the field. This curriculum is also approved by the DOJ Cops Grant for de-escalation training.
